In recent years a popular trend has been to choose a guiding WORD that you will you use as your mantra, your focus, your theme or your guide for the upcoming/ new year. Do you have a guiding word for 2018?

My word for 2018 is INTENTION. It is defined as “a thing intended, an aim, or plan.” My focus will be to plan, and take action in a deliberate and intentional way. In this video, I share how you can choose your guiding word. Enjoy!

Create A Visual Reminder Of Your Word
Once you decided on a guiding word, make sure to keep it visible. Here are some ways to do that:
- Write the word on a post-it note and stick it up in your office
- Create a graphic and use it as cell phone or computer background
- Create a music playlist for your word of the year
- Create a Pinterest board with pictures and quotes of your word
