Reviews (and star Ratings) help potential customers learn more about your business and may make your Page easier to find in Facebook search. Below you will see an example of a Facebook page’s Reviews (and Ratings).
In this example, you will see the page has 13 Ratings (all are 5 star). On the far right, you can read the Reviews written and shared on the page.
A Page’s star rating is the average of all public star ratings that the Page has received. Only Pages that allow reviews will show a star rating.
Turning on Reviews for Your Page
Turning reviews on for your Page lets anyone logged into Facebook publish a review on your Page, see your Page’s star rating and see reviews shared with Public.
To turn reviews on for your Page:
- Click Settings at the top of your Page
- Click Edit Page in the left column
- Scroll down and click Add a Tab
- Click Add Tab next to Reviews
Turning off Reviews for Your Page
Turning reviews off will disable reviews and remove the star rating and reviews from your Page.
To turn reviews off for your Page:
- Click Settings at the top of your Page
- Click Edit Page in the left column
- Click Settings next to Reviews
- Click to select Off
- Click Save.
How to Rate or Write a Review on a Facebook Business Page?

To rate or write a review on a Page:
- Go to the Page you want to review, locate the … button.
- Click the … button underneath the cover image photo.
- Select Write a Review.
The Write a Review window for the page appears.
- Select the star rating by clicking on the desired star.
- Type a message to leave a written review.
- Click Audience icon to select your desired audience. (The default is set to public)
- Click Done, when finished.
